Obituary
Ms. Carolyn Byrum Temples, 77, of 204 River Valley Drive, Hartwell, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on April 10, 1934 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bob P. Byrum and Carrie Ann Carnes Byrum.She was a homemaker and a member of Hartwell Church of God.
Survivors include son: Larry Thomas "Tommy" Temples of Hartwell; one daughter: Connie T. Thilges of Hartwell; and two grandchildren: Alex Jay Temples and Justin Temples.Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Robert Byrum, Jr., Tom Byrum, and Hugh Byrum; and one sister: Helen B. Myerholtz.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating.Burial will follow in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday night.The family is at the home.
