Mrs. Carolyn Ann Canady Vickery, 76, of Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at her home.

Born on December 3, 1947 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Canady and Sarah Clyde Byrum Allen. Mrs. Vickery retired from the Accounting Department at Tenneco Automotive after 29 years of service, and she was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Bobby Ray Vickery of Hartwell; son: Kevin Vickery (Cindy Fulbright) of Hartwell; one brother: Roger Canady (Diane) of Hartwell; and one sister: Glenda Smith of Bowersville. Mrs. Vickery is preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father: George Allen.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Vickery will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jason Webb and Mr. Leslie Boles officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643.
