Ms. Carolyn Cordelia (Payne) Westmoreland, age 58, of 214 Linton Avenue – Lavonia, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born February 27, 1949, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Ace and Imogene Payne. She was a waitress and a textile worker. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents; and sisters: Suzanne Payne, Becky Long, and Margret Elizabeth Payne.
Survivors include daughter: Dawn Coker of Lavonia; son: Trevor Mitchell of Lavonia; grandchildren: Candace Mitchell and Logan Coker of Lavonia; brother and sister-in-law: Frank and Patsy Payne of Carnesville; and special aunt: Jeanette Langston of Carnesville.
The family is at the home of her children.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2007 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeff Caudell officiating.
