Obituary
Mrs. Carrie Lillie Bridge Cole, 92, of 3050 Ridge Rd, Hartwell, died Friday, June 25 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Born on October 5, 1917 in Brooklyn NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bridge and Cornelia Fleischman Bridge.After marriage, she resided in Montague NJ and was an active member of the Minisink Reformed Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and an active participate in church community life.She was a veteran of WW II, serving in the Women's Army Corp.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Cole Anderson of Hartwell GA, Kathleen Hankins of Port Jervis NY and Phyllis Cole of Tampa FL; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Cole and two brothers, Charles Bridge and Henry Bridge.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 7 at the Minisink Reformed Church Cemetery, Montague NJ.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Minisink Reformed Church, PO Box 1787, Montague NJ, 07827 or to the Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA 30643.
