Mrs. Cathy Sue Marett Brinson, 67, of Chandler Street, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at her home.
Born on November 6, 1953 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late George A. Marett and Ida Sue Brown Marett.Mrs. Brinson was a homemaker, former nurse, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her step-daughter: Marsha Brinson of Colorado and her nephew: Jason Marett of Atlanta. Mrs. Brinson is preceded in death by her parents; husband: William Alvin Brinson; son: M. Shane Cleveland; and brother: George Terrell Marett.
A memorial service celebrating Cathy's life will be held at a later date by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 45, Hartwell, GA 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
