Cathy Alexander Timms, age 57, of Canon, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.

Born April 9, 1965, in Rowlett, TX, she was the daughter of the late Charles Alexander and the late Sally Rollins. She worked at Morgan Hardware as a bookkeeper. Cathy loved animals and singing karaoke, but her main love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law: Brandy & Daniel Floyd and Bridgett & Jason Henry; fiancé: Jim Dickson; son-in-law & daughter-in-law: Corbin & Kelsey Dickson; grandchildren: Hadley Floyd, Makenna Floyd, Brylie Holder, Bristol Holder, and Stella Dickson; and sisters: Pat Cagle and Pam Garrison.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
