Mr. Richard Chad Adams, 46, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Emory Midtown in Atlanta.

Born on April 5, 1979 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Howard L. Adams and Sara Donna Cook Combs. Mr. Adams was a machine operator for Linde & Wiemann, and he was a member of the Hartwell Church of God. Chad also loved dirt track racing & fishing.

Survivors include his father: Howard Adams of Hartwell; mother: Sara C. Combs (Jeff) of Hartwell; one brother: Chris Adams of Hartwell; two step-sisters: Breanna Sokol of Hartwell and Hailey Melfie of Fayetteville, NC; two aunts: Diane Sokol and Nora Jean Baskins, both of Hartwell; and one nephew: Zackary Adams.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Memorial services for Mr. Chad Adams will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Revs. Josh Cash and Jeff Combs officiating.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Hartwell Church of God, 120 Race St, Hartwell, GA 30643.
