Mr. Chad Edwin Cannon, 50, of Bowersville, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on July 18, 1972 in Elberton GA, he was the son of Hazel Alexander Cannon and the late Morris Edwin Cannon. Mr. Cannon was owner/operator of Cannon Monument and Sandblasting and a member of the Bowersville Baptist Church. Chad loved fishing, hunting, keeping up with family history and fostering animals.

He is survived by his mother: Hazel Cannon of Bowersville; his wife: Julie Byrum Cannon; two daughters: Abigail and Kenzie Cannon of the home and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by his father: Morris E. Cannon.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Chad Cannon's life will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA 30643.
