Mr. Charles Gus Baca, 76, of Pecan Drive, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.
Born on May 28, 1941 in La Junta CO, he was the son of the late Leo Baca and Ida Cordova Baca. Mr. Baca was a driver for An-Cam Trucking Co. and attended Faith Lutheran Church of Hartwell.He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Mockbee Baca; a daughter: Pamela Yuma and her husband Johnny of Fredrick CO; three daughters: Patrick Baca of Denver CO, Mike McNeil and his wife Jackie of Hartwell and Scott McNeil and his wife Norma of Coconut Creek FL; a brother: Leo Baca and his wife Verna of Klamath Falls OR; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Henry Baca and Pete Baca.
A memorial service celebrating Charles' life will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Pastor Matthew Cawthorn officiating.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 691 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
