Mr. Charles Wade Bailey, 80, of Bailey's Garage Road, Bowersville, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Brown Health and Rehab. Royston.

Born on July 28, 1935 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Bert A. Bailey and Flossie Stone Bailey.Mr. Bailey was the owner/operator of Bailey's Garage and Wrecker Service and a member of the Bowersville Church of God.

Survivors include three sons: Dennis Bailey of Bowersville, Dennis King, Wesley King both of Elberton; one daughter: Susan Huff of Hartwell; one brother: Louie Bailey of Hartwell; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Mary McKern Bailey; one son: David Bailey; two brothers: Harold Bailey, John Walker Bailey and one sister: Sara Fulghum.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Gettis Allen officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.The family is at their respective homes.
