Obituary
Mr. Charles C. Dove, 82, of Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his home.
Born on April 1, 1935 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Charlie Reed Dove and Lilly Cape Dove.Mr. Dove was a retired technician from Newton Mills and a member of the Goldmine Church of God. He also was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife: Jewel Norris Dove; two sons: Ken Dove and Susan Lee of Lavonia, Darren Dove and his wife Susan of Hartwell; two brothers: Jerry Dove of Royston, Tim Dove of Iva, SC; two grandchildren: Douglas Dove and Holly Dove also survive.Mr. Dove was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Wynee Floyd Edwards, Irel Fabris; two brothers: Talmadge Dove and Job Dove.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Cory Pulliam officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.The family will be at the home.
