Charles Edwin "Chuck" Hall, Jr., age 75, of Martin, passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home.

Born December 10, 1948, in Albany, GA, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edwin Hall Sr., Newton, GA.  His mother, Helen Sarah (Hall) Hall, was born in Carnesville, GA, the granddaughter of Dr. James Reuben Hall (1866-1918), a beloved doctor in Carnesville.  Mr. Hall was a veteran of the US Army, who did two tours of duty in Viet Nam. Hall received his degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University and his Masters of Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA. In 1983, he was commissioned as a missionary and sent out from New Covenant Church in Valdosta. He served twenty years as president of World Indigenous Missions, based in New Braunfels, Texas.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Nell (Lanier) Hall; children: Jonathan Edwin Hall (Lisa), Helen Kristina Davis (Benjamin), Jessica Elise Vencer (Alcoe), Calvin Lanier Hall (Rachael), & Mary Elizabeth DePriest (Jacob); grandchildren: Hannah Neel (Collin), Jade Elizabeth Vencer, Jessica Eve Hall, Josiah Edwin Hall, Sophia Elizabeth Hall, Sara Gurley Davis, Allison Nell Hall, Katherine Rose Davis, Maribelle Elise Vencer, Jocelyn Rain Hall, Jubilation James Davis, Elizabeth Josephine Davis, Selah Grace DePriest, Jonathan Siler Hall, Sadie Jane DePriest, Charles Owen DePriest, & Colette Marie Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Martin Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy La Hood of Valdosta, officiating. Burial will follow in Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Army Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at their home.
