Obituary
Mr. Charles Thomas Hilley, 72, of Beaver Creek Road, Bowman, passed away, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hart Care Center.
Born on July 2, 1943 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Buna Hilley and Imogene Hendrix Hilley.Mr. Hilley was formerly employed by Georgia Power and was also a cattle and poultry farmer.He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Emilie Hilley; a son: Daniel (Dawn) Brown of Escondido, California; a daughter: Julie Brown of Bowman and two grandchildren: Dakota and Daniel Brown. Mr. Hilley was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Angela Brown.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Durham officiating.Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Gideons International, Hart Co. Camp, PO Box 59, Hartwell GA 30643.
