Mr. Charles Aubrey Yates, age 67, of 2349 Elberton Hwy., Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home.
Born March 17, 1942 in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late James Arnold Yates and Gladys Marie Horner Yates.He was a retired Production Supervisor from Yamaha ~ Boating Mfg.He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by:Son, Shawn Yates of Venice, CA; Daughters, April Rowell and her husband Chris of Hartwell, GA and Tara Harris and her husband Ricky of Preston, GA; Brothers, Larry Yates of Thomasville, GA and Ricky Yates of Moultrie, GA; Five grandchildren, Anna Yates, Leah Yates, Austin Brown, Logan Brown and Hunter Yates also survive.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. from the Bethel Baptist Church, Americus, GA with Rev. Steve Golden officiating.Memorials may be made to defray medical and funeral expenses.
