Mrs. Charlotte Haynes "Tina" Bailey, 87, of Scheafer Street, Bowersville, died Monday July 27, 2015 at her home.

Born on September 12, 1927 in Bowman, GA, she was the daughter of the late Guy Haynes and Clara Cornell Haynes.Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Bowersville Baptist Church where she was both a Sunday school teacher and a GA's and Acteens teacher.

Survivors include one son: Bobby J. Bailey, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Bowersville: four grandchildren: Heather, Karen, Andrew, and Keri; two great-grandchildren: Hunter and Jocelyn; one sister-in-law: Fredia Haynes of Elberton. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Joe "Bob" Bailey, Sr; one son: Steve Bailey and one brother: Frank Haynes.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowersville Baptist Church with Rev. Connie Ivester and Rev. Jim Rice officiating.Burial will be in the Bowersville City Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family is at the home.
