Mrs. Charlotte Crook Johnson, 85, of Sunset Drive, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on May 23, 1935 in Elberton GA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Crook and Marjorie Willis Crook.Mrs. Johnson took care of children in her home and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons: Larry Johnson and Brenda of Hartwell, Dalton Johnson and Joan, Frankie Johnson and Tamara all of Canon; a brother: Charles Crook of Canon; two sisters: Hazel Seawright and Bill of Canon and Linda Sharpe of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Brandon Johnson and Sarah, Lacie Johnson, Scott Johnson and Mattie Baskins; eight great grandchildren: Ava Kay Carey, Adah Grace Johnson, Charleigh Johnson, Reagan Johnson, Emily Jane Johnson, Paul David Burroughs, Jack Johnson and Teagan June Johnson.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Paul Johnson.

Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.The family will be at the home of Dalton and Joan Johnson, 300 Joe Johnson Rd., Canon and they ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.

Graveside services will be Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Buchanan and Rev. Luther Thomason officiating.Everyone will be asked to practice Social Distancing and may want to bring a lawn chair.
