Mrs. Charlotte J. Brown McCurley, 74, of Cobb's Glen, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born on September 19, 1942 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Teasley Brown and Nell Jones Brown.Mrs. McCurley was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Belton, SC.

Survivors include her husband: Dennis McCurley; one son: Grant McCurley and his wife Robin of Honea Path SC and one grandchild: Max McCurley.Mrs. McCurley was preceded in death by her parents; her son: Gregory Kent McCurley; one brother: Dean Brown and one sister: Annie Lois Ethridge.

Funeral services will held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Mitch Brooks officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church, 5901 Belton Hwy, Belton, SC 29627.
