Obituary

Mrs. Charlotte Cochran Robertson Teasley, 93, of 2889 Ridge Rd, Hartwell, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at her home.

Born on July 16, 1917 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Rolfe Robertson and Charlotte Cochran Robertson. She was a retired Elementary School Librarian with the Fairfax Co. School System in Vienna, VA, a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, the Livewire Sunday School Class, the Elizabeth Matheson WMU Group, the John Benson Chapter NSDAR, Chi Chapter Delta Kappa Gamma, the Hartwell Women's Club, the Monday night community bible study and was on the board of directors for the "Glory Girls".

Survivors include a son, Walter "Skip" Munster, Jr. and wife, Colleen of Manassas, VA; two daughters, Charlotte "Candy" Landvoigt and husband, Steve of Highland, WV, and Catherine "Cathy" Munster and husband, Chris Stilling of Flemington, WV; one brother, Peyton Robertson; one sister, Anne Robertson; four grandchildren, Maple T. Landvoigt, Noel R. McCutchan, Drayton W. Munster, Cameron C. Munster; and one great grandchild, Eowyn L. McCutchan.Mrs. Teasley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amos Milton Teasley, Jr.; three brothers, Rolfe Robertson, Bowling Robertson, Dan Bruce Robertson; and one sister, Phyllis Robertson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Newton and Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends with a reception after the service. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with the following men serving as pallbearers; Skip Munster, Drayton Munster, Chris Stilling, Steve Landvoigt, Maple Landvoigt and Morgan McCutchan.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional.Special Memorials can be made out to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church Bowers Fund, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
