Mrs. Wanda Cheryl Chitwood Milam, 59, of 217 Wisteria Cove Estates, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at her home.

Born October 2, 1948 in Dalton, GA, she is the daughter of Ruth Foster Chitwood of Hartwell, GA and the late Lon Junior Chitwood.She was retired as Office Manager of a Dental and Medical Office.She was also a member of Hartwell Church of God.

She is survived by:Mother; Husband, Mark J. Milam of the home; Daughters, Tracy Ayers and her husband Jeff of Royston, GA, and Tonya Purcell and her husband Jeff of Hartwell, GA; Stepsons, Jacob Milam of Atlanta, GA, and Lucus Milam of Milledgeville, GA; Sister, June Crunkleton andher husband Roy of Hartwell, GA; Brother, Rev. Jerry Chitwood and his wife Paulette of Charlotte, NC; and Five grandchildren, Lee Tumblin, Daniel Ayers, Dylan Purcell, Dalton Purcell, and Jennifer Haley.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Jerry Chitwood, Rev. Wade Chitwood and Rev. Lonnie Bennett will officiate.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of her mother, Ruth Chitwood, Harvey Street, Hartwell, GA.
