Obituary
Mrs. Cheryl Dyer Strange, 41, of S. Forest Avenue, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.
Born on January 25, 1979 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Gary L. Dyer and the late Sylvia Elaine Cobb Dyer.Mrs. Strange was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church
Survivors include her father: Gary L. Dyer of Canon; husband: Jimmy Strange of Hartwell; daughter: Alyssa Strange of Hartwell; brother: Brian Dyer of Canon; and sister: Marcia Selman of Anderson.
Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
A memorial service celebrating Cheryl's life will be held by the family in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Bruce Eaves officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help defray medical and funeral costs.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
