Christine Floyd Randall, age 82, of Canon, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at The Oaks of Athens.
She was born at home in Hart County, July 25, 1937 to the late Lumpkin and Pearl (McCollum) Floyd. She was a graduate of Hart County High School and retired from Kautex Industries. She married John F. Randall and they remained happily married for 57 years until his death. She actively worked on the family farm. Mrs. Randall was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she was the teacher of the Hannah Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Priscilla Randall of Dunnellon, Florida and Wayne and Paige Randall of Martin; Four grandchildren Janna Randall Alt, Jade Randall, Lily Randall, and Canyon Randall; Two great grandchildren, Cooper Alt and Gracie Alt.
The funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
