Mrs. Alma Christine Lee Segers, 81, of 1315 Hickory Crossing Road, Hartwell, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 6, 1931 in Elberton GA, she was the daughter of the late L.C. Lee and Nettie Holmes Lee.She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: George A. Segers of the home; two sons: Johnny Segers and his wife Carol of Hartwell and Bobby Segers of Hartwell; one daughter: Ann Hendrix and her husband Mack of Elberton; two brothers: Dillard Lee of Hartwell and Albert Lee of Martin; six grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Segars is preceded in death by four brothers: Leon Lee, Robert Lee, Herman Lee and Grady Lee; two Sisters: Rachael Brown, and Maude Emma Hicks and a grandchild, Joy Anna Segars.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Bearden and Rev. James Sexton officiating.Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday night.The family is at the home of Johnny & Carol Segers, 55 John Gaines Road, Hartwell.
