Obituary
Mrs. Clara Nell White Little, age 85, of 952 Hickory Crossing Road, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at her home.
Born April 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Hause White and Bertie Scoggins White and stepmother, Mary Alma Motes White.She retired after 26 years as a cook at Nancy Hart Elementary School.She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, the Fidelis Sunday School Class, a Choir member, the Happy Agers, a kitchen worker, and also helped at the Hart County Clothes Closet.
Her survivors include:Daughter, Janet Vickery of Hartwell, GA; Sons, Kenneth Little of Elberton, GA and Tony Little of Easley, SC; Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by Husband, John Ben Little; Brother, William Marvin White and a sister, Sara Myrtice White.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.Rev. James Sexton and Rev. Truman Bolden will officiate.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
