Mr. Clarence R. "C.R." Berg, 70, of 420 Cedar Creek Cir, Hartwell GA, died Sunday, August 2 at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville SC

Born on December 13, 1930 in Dearbrook WI, he was the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Richard O. Berg.He was a partner in Febmetco, member of Ducks Unlimited and an avid sportsman.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Edwards Berg of the home; three sons, Richard Berg of Rydal GA, Ralph Berg of Gainesville GA and Daniel Berg of Athens GA; a daughter, Anne Marie Addison of Hartwell GA; three sisters, Alma Nielson of Neenah WI, Lenore Strommen of Jamesville WI and Emilie Scheerenberger of Madison WI; three grandchildren, Hunter Berg, Michael Addison and Rachel Addison and two step-granddaughters, Laura Addison and Haley Addison also survive.

Funeral services will Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Harrison Lampley and Rev. Rabon Stewart officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 59, Hartwell, GA30643.
