Mr. Clinton Darwin Wiley, age 71, of Lavonia, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his home.
Born September 22, 1939, in Commerce, he was the son of the late Ralph and Clara (Tucker) Wiley. He retired from the US Navy and the Civil Service. Mr. Wiley was a member of the Lavonia United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Dorothy (Stephens) Wiley; children: William Wiley, Samuel Wiley, Robert Wiley, Susan Neidiffer, and Stephen Wiley; and grandchildren: April Martinez, Joshua Wiley, Billie Wiley, Carmen Wiley, Angela Wiley, Katie Wiley, and Matthew Neidiffer.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Lavonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Randall Massengill officiating. Mr. Wiley's wishes were to be cremated and his remains will be buried in Jackson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, 25 Baker Street, Lavonia, GA 30553.
