Obituary
Mr. Clyde Motes, Jr., 64, of 94 Cade Street, Hartwell, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on May 7, 1947 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Clyde Motes, Sr. and Mary Othela Carnes Motes.He was retired from the City of Hartwell-Sanitation Department and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters:Stella Bratcher, Dianne Bratcher and Brenda Dutton of Hartwell; Sandra Motes of Royston.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Randall Starrett officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes
