Mr. Christopher Cody Browning, 28, of West Howell Street, Hartwell, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

He was born December 30, 1993, in Anderson, SC. He was a diesel mechanic for Shift Solutions and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one daughter: Paisley Rae Browning; son: Marshall Carey; mother: Patricia Hensley (stepfather Ronnie); father: Christopher "Shane" Browning; one sister: Halle Brown; and one brother: North West. His surviving grandparents are Jean & David Boles, Debra Blumenauer, and Dennis Moon; and step-grandparents: Linda & Ronnie Hensley. He is also survived by a special friend: Gabby Garcia.

There will be a visitation at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Cody Browning will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
