Mr. Colin Raymond Kindness, 89, of Eagle Grove School Road, Canon, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home.

Born on December 17, 1927 in Cathcart, South Africa, he was the son of the late George W. Kindness and Edith M. Owen Kindness. Mr. Kindness was retired from General Post Office as a Telephone technician.He was also a member of the Anglican Church.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years: Denise Ferreira Kindness; one daughter: Barbara Turner and her husband Michael of Canon; two grandchildren: Savanna Peterson of Palm Coast, FL and Kevin M. Kirley of Chandler, AZ. also survive. Mr. Kindness was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Colin Watson Kindness.

A memorial service celebrating Colin's life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with a reception to follow in the church's Founders Hall.In lieu of flowers; Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
