Miss Connie Ruth Holmes, age 47 of 216 N. Broad Street, Bowman, Ga., died Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Elbert Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born October 3, 1960 in Elbert County, she was the daughter of Mr. C.P. Holmes and the late Mary Bond Holmes. She was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church.

She is survived by: brothers, Neil and Keith Holmes of Bowman, Ga., and Dan Holmes of Royston, Ga., sisters, Carol Maxwell of Bowman, Ga., and Joyce Royston of Royston, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from the Coldwater United Methodist Church. Rev. Nancy Morgan and Rev. Reggie Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. The family will be at their respective homes.
