Mrs. Connie Anne (Patrick) Payne, age 74, of Martin, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at her home.
Born November 26, 1944 in Covington, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Emerson Patrick and Annie Pearl (Brown) Patrick. She was a waitress and cashier at Echo Truckstop restaurant and was a member of Hillstreet Baptist Church.
She is survived by son & daughter-in-law: Jackie Lee and Eva Payne of Martin; daughter & son-in-law: Lisa Anne and Scott Connell of Lavonia; grandchildren: Alyssa Connell, Jason Cochran, Mark Cochran, Robby Cochran; Rachel Akin, Luther Patrick, Adrian Payne, Kristy Rice, Paul Akin, Kayla Payne; great grandsons: Bentley Bolmon and Jayden Larken; brothers: Kenneth Payne and Ronald Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Edward Payne, Jr.; brothers: Cecil Patrick and Luther Patrick; and sisters: Mary Ott and Flora Brooks.
The family will have a Celebration of Mrs. Payne's life at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the home of her daughter Lisa Connell, 55 Hicks Circle, Lavonia, GA 30553. Cards or flowers may be sent to the same address. Mrs. Payne has requested cremation.
