Mrs. Connie Ann Temples Thilges, 62, of Sanders Lane, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her home.

Born on May 11, 1956 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of Don Larry Temples and the late Carolyn Byrum Temples. Mrs. Thilges was a former park ranger at the Red Top State Park in Cartersville, GA.

Survivors include her father: Don L. Temples of Hartwell; one brother: Larry Thomas "Tommy" Temples of Hartwell; and two nephews: Alex J. Temples and Justin W. Temples, both of Hartwell. Mrs. Thilges was preceded in death by her mother: Carolyn B. Temples; and her husband: Mark Thilges.

A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home, prior to the service. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to defray medical and funeral expenses.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
