Obituary
Mr. Corey Ryan Hackett, 30, of 1398 Woodland Way, Dewy Rose, peacefully died Friday, November 2, 2012 at his home.
Born on December 10, 1981 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Clinton V. Hackett and Becky Rice Hackett.Corey was of the Church of God Faith.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Jason Hackett and his wife Sonya of Dewey Rose; one sister, Ashley Killen of Hartwell; paternal grandparents, Tom Hackett and his Timmy of Canon also survive.Mr. Hackett was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lester and Ruth Rice and paternal grandmother, Deler Hackett.
Memorial services will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, with Rev. Stacy Lynch officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.The family is at the home of Jason and Sonya Hackett, 1400 Woodland Way, Dewy Rose, GA. In lieu of flowers, special memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
