Mrs. Cornelia Cromer Goldsmith, age 64, of 1970 Mt. Olivet Rd, Hartwell, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born July 27, 1945 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Keifer Cromer and Iber Lois Phillips Cromer.She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

She is survived by:Daughter, Teresa G. Haygood and her husband Mark of Hartwell, GA; Brother, James Cromer of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Bonnie Partain of McDonough, GA, Janie Anderson of Royston, GA, Sarah Willis of Gainesville, GA, Martha Ashworth of Hartwell, GA, Becky Thomas of Hartwell, GA and Glenda Parham of Bowman, GA; Four grandchildren, Will Goldsmith, Caroline Haygood, Suzanne Haygood and Zachary Haygood also survives.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Baron L. Goldsmith; Son, William Mark Goldsmith; Brothers, Cecil, Jack, Gene, and Kenneth Cromer and a Sister, Mary Smith.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Joe Black and Dr. Steve Williams officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Mark and Teresa Haygood, 284 Fred King Road, Hartwell.
