Mr. Coy Eldred Crump, age 95, of 1008 Crumps Road, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Hospice House of Anderson, SC.
Born May 23, 1912 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Ben Crump and Carrie Slater Crump.He was a Farmer and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
He is survived by: Sons, Bennie Crump and his wife Charlotte, and Gene Crump and his wife Helen all of Hartwell, GA; Six grandchildren, Rev. Nita Crump, Mitchell Crump, Sharon Smith, Steve Crump, David Crump and Cynthia Marett and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Ethel G. McAbee Crump; and a son, Jerry Roger Crump.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Nancy Morgan will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Gene & Helen Crump, 1032 Crumps Road, Hartwell, GA.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC
