Mr. Curtis J. Craft, 81, of 180 Craft Road, Hartwell, GA, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at home.
Born October 28, 1928 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Chad Craft and Fleddie Adams Craft. He was retired from Vickery's Lumber Company where he worked as a saw mill worker.He was a member of River of Life Church of Hartwell.
He is survived by: wife, Frances G. Craft of the home; two sons, Jerry Craft and his wife Susan of Hartwell, GA, and Randy Craft of Hartwell, GA; one brother, Ray Craft of Hartwell, GA; one brother-in-law reared in the home, Carl Goldsmith of Anderson, GA; three Grandchildren, John Goldsmith, Mandy Craft, and Maleah Craft; and four Great Grandchildren, Kaleigh Goldsmith, Earl Clark, Elizabeth Clark, and Silas Craft.He is preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, three sisters, one brother-in-law, Marvin Goldsmith, and one Grandchild, Mary Clark.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church with Rev. Ken Buffington officiating.Burial will be at the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.The family is at home.Special memorials may be made to the River of Life Building Fund.
