Mr. Curtis Brian Wright, 42, of Lanier Pruitt Road, Anderson, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home.

Born on September 14, 1976 in Pahokee, FL, he was the son of Thermon H. Wright and Virginia Brown "Vee" Wright.Mr. Wright was a welder and fabricator at Hartness International of Greenville SC, and a maintenance technician for ACS of Abbeville, SC. Mr. Wright enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved golf, fishing, and hunting, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents: Thermon and Vee Wright of Hartwell; his daughter: Morgan Wright of Walhalla, SC; his brother: Jimmy Wayne Wright of Hartwell; three sisters: Wanda Jane Shaw and her husband Duane of Anderson, SC, Robbin Wright Bailey and her husband Joshua of Easley, SC, and Mary Beth Wright of Hartwell; ten nieces and nephews: Michael Wright, Kenny Wright, Andy Wright, TJ Brown, Brittney S. Christian, Malorie Bocock, Cassie Heaton, Hannah Heaton, Tyler Bailey and Kaitlyn Bailey; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

A memorial service celebrating Curtis' life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer and Mr. Jimmy Peden officiating.Other times the family will be at the home of his parents, 220 Wayne Circle, Hartwell.
