Cynthia Bradley Certain, age 89, of Martin, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her home.

Born August 24, 1933, in Neely, MS, she was the daughter of the late Carl Bradley & Leona Brewer Bradley. Before retirement she worked for Cobb Memorial Healthcare System. Mrs. Certain was the second oldest member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Lewis Certain and her siblings: Ruth Moody, Marie Brown, Stance Bradley, James Bradley, Don Bradley & Floyd "Buck" Bradley.

She is survived by her children: Dave & Janice Certain of Hartwell, Kaye & Jerome Humphrey of Martin, Mike & Jimmie Certain of Martin; grandchildren: Joy & Josh Holcomb, Cortney & Jason Evans, Brannan & Chad Wicker, Chad & Miki Humphrey, Jodi & Tyler Davison, Michael & Meredith Certain, Laura & Blake Andrews & Taylor Certain; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. John Marc Cooling officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m. At other times the family will be at their respective homes. Pallbearers will be Chad Humphrey, Michael Certain, Taylor Certain, Josh Holcomb, Tyler Davison & Blake Andrews; honorary pallbearers will be Seth Holcomb, Luke Holcomb, Cliff Certain, Rhett Davison, Tucker Andrews & Zeke Davison.
