Mrs. Cynthia Gail (Gentry) Huston, age 54, of Hartwell, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born February 16, 1960, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of Betty Jean (Farmer) Smith and Bobby Gentry. She graduated from Franklin County High School. She was a homemaker and a member of her family's scrapbooking club. Mrs. Huston was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 23 years: Francis Huston; daughter: Faith Schutte; brother: Cecil "Buddy" Gentry; sisters: Nancy Gentry and Loraine Gentry Reed; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Farmer, rev. Maxine Cobb, and Rev. Judy Carruthers officiating. Burial will follow in Oak View Cemetery in Canon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Huston's memory to the charity of one's choice.
