Obituary
Mr. D.B. Goodwin, age 83, of Canon, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born November 11, 1923, in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Etta Hill Goodwin. He was a retired farmer and of the holiness faith.
He was predeceased by his parents; sister: Ruby Pulliam; and five brothers: Tom Ed, Charlie, Roy, and Ernest Goodwin.
Survivors include two sisters: Irene Goodwin Argo of Canon and Ruth Goodwin Wehunt of Lavonia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to offset funeral expenses.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dorsey Holmes officiating.
