Obituary
Mr. Dan Arnold Bryant, 74, of 349 Ostrich Farm Road, Hartwell, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on March 21, 1937 in Elberton GA, he was the son of the late Johnny Bryant and Pearl Franklin Bryant.He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Old Canon Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Ben Bryant of Hartwell; three brothers: Jack W. Bryant, Wayne Bryant, and Frankie D. Bryant all of Royston; one sister: Brenda Bryant of Bowman; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Mr. Bryant was twice married, first to the late Sue Drake Bryant and second to the late Jeanette Harris Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harley Bryant and Sammy Bryant; and two sisters: Delpha Dove and Charlotte Brown.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.
