Dana Brown Lynch, age 46, beloved wife and cherished member of the Carnesville community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Emory Hospital.
Born on January 10, 1978, in Franklin County, she was the treasured daughter of Connie Fleeman Brown and the late Benny Aaron Brown. Dana was a proud graduate of Franklin County High School and dedicated her life to faith and family. She served with devotion as the First Lady of Bowman Church of God alongside her husband, Rev. Stacy Lynch, for over sixteen years, touching many lives with her warmth and kindness. Dana's spirit, faith, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is deeply mourned by her mother, Connie Fleeman Brown, and her husband, Rev. Stacy Lynch. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Scott Boleman, as well as her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Wesley Williams. Her grandchildren, Laina Kendall Williams and Bryson Kennon Williams and Godchildren, Emily & Carson Johnson, Jenna & Arianna Vickery, and Brayson & Brynlee McDuffie will forever remember her loving presence. Dana's circle of friends and extended family mourn her loss and celebrate the joy she brought into their lives. She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Aaron Brown, and her son, Zachary Lynch, whom she now joins in the presence of God.
A visitation service honoring Dana's life and legacy will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bowman Church of God or to Gideon's International.
