Obituary
Mr. Daniel L. Peeples, 79, of 82 Clyde Circle, Hartwell, died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on July 1, 1931 in Bowersville, GA, he was the son of the late John Peeples and Myrtice Westmoreland Peeples.He was a Korean War Veteran of the US Army, a retired Monroe Auto Equipment Machine Operator, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include: wife, Gatha Peeples; two sons, Danny Peeples of Hartwell, and Keith Peeples of Hartwell; a daughter, Tracy Seawright of Hartwell; 6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.Mr. Peeples was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Steve Peeples, Neal Peeples, Doyle Peeples, and twin brother, David Peeples; and three sisters, Rosa Bell Guest, Madeline Wood, and Luna Partain.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
