Mr. Danny Denny Varnes, age 45 of Carnesville, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his home.
Born September 5, 1965, in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of Robert L. Varnes and the late Marcella (Day) Varnes Floyd. He was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to his father, he is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Karl & Sherry Varnes of Lavonia and Randy & Liane Varnes of Cleveland; sisters and brothers in-law: Karen & Brian Hall of Jefferson and Tammy & Walter Lampp of Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Cash and Rev. Tim Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m. At other hours the family will be at the home of Karl & Sherry Varnes.
