Obituary
Mr. Danny Lee Wade, 56, of 239 Green Meadow Dr., Hartwell, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 30, 1950 in Indianapolis Indiana, he was the son of the late Toy Wade and Frances Freeman Wade.He was an Auto Body repairman and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife: Rebecca Jane Cleary Wade of the home; a son: John Wade of Monroe; three step-sons: Ben Baker of Monroe, Jerry Carter and Bobby Carter both of Hartwell; two step-daughters: Lisa Elgin and Tabitha Wilson both of Hartwell; eighteen grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survives.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Dennis Wade and Mark Wade.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jimmy Wilson and Rev. Eddie Seawright.Mr. Wade will be cremated following the service. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.Memorials may be made to the Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Holiness Church, 764 Benson St., Hartwell, GA30643.
