Mr. Danny Richard Wilson, 65, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his home.

Born on December 18, 1957 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Ranie Wilson and Hazel Williams Wilson. Danny enjoyed dirt track auto racing, playing golf, and spending time with his grandkids. He was also a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Joylynn B. Wilson of Hartwell; daughter: Deanna W. Sanders (Cory) of Hartwell; and two grandchildren: Ayla & Kara Sanders. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Jennifer Lynn Wilson; and a brother: David Wilson.

Danny's wishes were to be cremated and a private service celebrating his life will be held at a later date. The family will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Playground Fund, 2973 Mt. Olivet Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643.
