Mr. David J. Bryant, age 48 of 2510 Anderson Highway, Elberton, Ga., died January 14, 2010.

Born Sept. 29, 1961 in Elberton, Ga., he was the son of the late James A. Bryant. He was a former butcher with Ingles of Elberton.

He is survived by: Mother, Dolores Evans Bryant of Elberton, Ga., step-father, Ray J. Jefferson, sisters, Gigi Rosser of Athens, Ga., and Becky Bell of Bowman, Ga., step-brother, Butch Jefferson of Elberton, Ga.,step-sisters, Glenda Webb and Brenda Langston of Elberton, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Bryant and sister, Melanie Ann Bryant.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Denni Moss will officiate. The family will receive after the service. Memorials may be made to St. Albans Episcopal Church, 109 Brookside Drive, Elberton, Ga. 30635
