Mr. David Kenneth Bailey, 53, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home.

Born on December 26, 1961 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of Kenneth Franklin Bailey and Patsy Patten Bailey. Mr. Bailey was employed for 29 years at Monroe Auto Equipment Company, a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church and Pete Craft Sunday School Class. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his parents: Kenneth and Patsy Bailey of Hartwell; his wife: Dena Taylor Bailey; two sisters: Susan Harbin and Harold of Lavonia and Tonya Bridges and Daniel of Hartwell; four nephews: Kevin Allen and Beth, Garrett Daniel Bridges, Jordan Bridges, and Luke Bridges; one niece: Brooke Bridges and two great-nieces: Blaire and Brynn Allen.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Leslie Boles and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
