Mr. David Dwayne "Moe" King, 62, of Richard King Road, Lavonia, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.
Born on March 1, 1959 in Fair Play SC, he was the son of the late James a. King and Dora Porterfield King.He formerly worked for Carter Drywall and was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include a son Jonathan King; a brother: Richard King (Mary) of Lavonia and two sisters: Faye Tanner and Rachel Nicholson both of Carnesville.Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Max King and Melvin King and two sisters: Evelyn Walters and Louise Lawrence.
It was Moe's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
