Mr. David H. Standridge, age 72, of Carnesville, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born December 25, 1946, in Duluth, he was the son of the late Joe and Ruth Standridge. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a maintenance Technician with Atlanta Rod Shop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Ann (Samples) Standridge; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law: David "Bubba" & Milene Standridge; daughter & son-in-law: Rhonda & Kenn Mathis; brother & sister-in-law: Billy & Debbie Standridge; grandchildren: Alicia Mathis, Heather & Bradley Love, Melanie & Eric Welch, and Kiera Grace Standridge; and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Standridge will be cremated in accordance with his request. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
