Obituary
Mr. John David Yates, 58, of Marshall Dove Road, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home.
Born on July 28, 1962 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late William Brown "Bill" Yates and Marilyn DeLisle Yates Spence.David was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his two brothers: Greg Yates (Leesa) of Bowersville GA and Jason Yates (Polly) of Honea Path SC; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
A Celebration of David's life will be held at a later date when everyone can come together to spend time with the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
